This project features an “in the box” multi-track recording of one of my own compositions under my producer name “Anelsis”. On this project my duties included sequencing, recording, editing, mixing and mastering. I also wrote and performed all elements of the track, including vocals which I processed through a vocoder.

This artifact demonstrates my understanding of slave and master software configuration as  some synthesizers and drum sounds from Propellerhead Reason were used and  synced to ProTools using Re-Wire.

This is a technique which will be very useful when operating in a studio which features several digital audio workstation packages, giving the ability to use multiple DAWs together.

I have chosen to include this recording as it is a purely electronic track which uses a variety of plug-in synthesizers and virtual instruments. In particular, I used Native Instruments Massive and Lennar Digital Sylenth1, which are both used very much in electronic dance music and are usually a staple in most electronic producer’s arsenal.

To accompany this track I also produced a basic music video using a few copyright free animations and editing these together within the video editing software in time with the music, showcasing my skills in multimedia.
