For this project I was given the task to design the sound for the short film ‘A Fever In The Blood’, with the goal of creating most sounds myself using Foley recording and synthesis and using a minimal amount of the sounds from libraries.

Foley recorded includes footsteps, clothing rustling, punching sounds and the sound of the character’s ear being bitten off. The sound of the ear bite scene inspired a lot of creativity, using a leak, lettuce and dried spaghetti to emulate the crunching sound of the ear being bitten.

I also recorded, mixed and mastered the music score for the film using a variety of synthesizers and provided ADR for one of the doctor character replacing the original actor’s recorded voice with a new recording in the studio.

I have included this project as it demonstrates my skills as a sound designer and audio post production engineer. Showcasing my mixing, editing and recording skills as well as creativity with Foley sounds and score writing.
